This gives you the choice how tho react in any kind of situations. Whitout havig to go into the stream of negative automatic thougts, feelings, emotions and sensations.
You learn to live with genuine interest and feel without (re)judgments. The goal is to experience the precent moment. The point of mindfulness is absolytely not to turn of you thoughts, feelings and emotions. But to create a inquiring curious attitude.
